History of Balkan

Antiquity
From Illyrians and Thracians, history and archeological evidence entails that the Balkan territory was populated with different tribes. Such tribes or structured groups had no political cohesion which made them considerably breakable by occupiers. The Roman Empire, on the other hand, had made the Balkan people to be united than at any time in their history, with a common legal system, a single ultimate arbiter of political power, and absolute military security. During these periods, trade between relevant actors of time flourished and a stable situation was maintained. But by the end of the Empire the region had become a conduit for invaders to move westward, as well as the scene of treaties and complex political maneuvers by Romans, Goths and Huns, all seeking the best advantage for their peoples amid the shifting and disorderly final decades of Roman imperial power.
Middle age
Eastern Roman Empire, Barbarian incursions and the First Bulgarian Empire, all belong the early Middle Ages, whereas the rise of the Republic of Venice belongs to the high and late middle ages period. A very significant period is the so-called Christendom, from which a literary era began conducted by a language with a unique Slavic alphabet. The literary era continued for a very long time, but was somehow interrupted by a misled conflict between the ruling empire and the religious stakeholders. Anytime the ruler and the ruled were not unified the church had the opportunity to persecute any sign of independent thinking as a danger to temporal as well as spiritual power, and this hindered the development of those forms of intellectual exchange that later proved vital to the flowering of intellectual life in the West.
20th century to present
These period’s interesting features to be mentioned are the Balkan Wars and how the Balkan resisted during World Wars. Various wars have shaped and defined the history, culture, the customs and what the Balkans are today. Fortunately, wars have ended and no major issue stands against a stable peace in this region. Now, Balkan, a place which is known for blood and honey, waits tourists only with honey. A delightful experience, with astonishing tours, guides, trails, and places to visit for tourists.
