DESCRIPTION:An exhibition by Miftar Memeti in Skopje\, in honor of the 550th birthday of Skënderbeu! \nВо чест на 550 години од раѓањето на Скендербег \nВо тек се подготовките на изложбата на Мифтар Мемети која според планираното треба да се одржи во мај\, во објектот Чифте амам. Станува збор за најновиот проект на Мифтар Мемети кој опфаќа 4 тематски целини на кои авторот работел веќе подолого време\, односно му ги посветил последните 10 години од неговото творештво. Овој негов 10 годишен труд инспириран од албанската историја и култура токму по повод 550 години од раѓањето на Скендербег ќе најде свое место во изложбениот простор на објектот Чифте амам\, целосно вклопувајќи се во идејата и целта на авторот да даде свој печат во одбележувањето на годишнината од раѓањето на големиот војсководец. Тргнувајќи од тука\, сама по себе се наметна и идејата на овој датум да биде организирано и отварањето на оваа изложба. На изложбата се прикажани вкупно 350 слики во мал формат работени во маслена техника. Тие се меѓусебно поврзани и комбинирани во засебни целини на комплексни мозаични слики формирајќи 4 поедничени дела во голем формат.\nПрвото дело кое има централно место во проектот тргнувајќи од поводот за оваа изложба е посветено на 550 години од раѓањето на Скендербег и е формирано од слики во мал формат меѓусебно суптилно поврзани во една целина која претставува голем мозаик на кој го распознаваме токму ликот на славниот војсководец. Освен гоелмиот мозаик посветен на Скендербег на овој настан ќе бидат изложени и уште три вакви дела посветени на: 100 години од раѓањето на Мајка Тереза\, 100 години од независноста на Албанија и чинот на прогласување на Мајка Тереза за светица. Делото посветено на100 години од раѓањето на Мајка Тереза е направено од 100 слики во мал формат од кои повторно како и во претходното дело се формира еден голем мозаик од кој изникнува портретот на Мајка Тереза. Проектот пак посветен на 100 години од независноста на Албанија ги прикажува најзначајните историски личности на Албанскиот народ\, повторно формирајќи од портретите на овие личности еден голем мозаик. Целокупниот број на овие слики во мал формат кои ги формираат големите мозаични претстави на значајни личности од албанската историја е вкупно 350. Сите се работени со маслена техника со нагласен реалистичен пристап и извонредна цртачка прецизност\, факт кој на крај претставува клучен момент во идеалното градење на мозаичните дела налик на пазелси од мали платна. Малите платна водат кон големата слика\, големата слика е причината за малите платна.\nСликарството на маестро Мифтар Мемети претставува емоционален изблик\, плод на човечкото\, кое истовремено остварувавува блискост со луѓето во обид да им го доближи фактичкото. Сликар кој дава предност на чувствата и емоцииите\, кои во текот на сликарскиот процес постепено се градат и продлабочуваат. Односно тој ја доближува сликата кон своите замисли\, следејќи ги сопствените емоции и интелектуален предизвик. Неговите дела се инспирирани од драматични настани\, поврзани со клучни моменти од албанската историја и култура.\nМифтар Мемети е роден 1954 г. во с. Раковец\, Тетово. Во 1980 г. го завршил Факултетот за ликовни уметности во Приштина. До 2004 г. работел како наставник за ликовни уметности во сите тетовски средни училишта. Магистрирал сликарство на Факултетот за ликовни уметности во Приштина во 2001 г. под менторството на професорот Тахир Емра. Во 2004 г. после озваничувањето на Тетовскиот универзитет го добил звањето доцент и бил избран за редовен професор по предметот Цртеж со сликарство. Автор е на десетина самостојни изложби\, учествувал на голем број колективни изложби. \nИзложбата ќе се отвори на 26 август\, во 20.00 часот во Чифте амам. \n—————————————————— \nPër nder të 550 vjetorit të lindjes së Skënderbeut \nNë vazhdim janë përgatitjet e ekspozitës së Miftar Memeti\, e cila është planifikuar të mbahet në muajin maj\, në objektin Cifte hamam. Bëhet fjalë për projektin më të ri nga Miftar Memeti i cili përfshin katër njësi tematike në të cilën autori ka punuar një kohë të gjatë \, në fakt ai i është përkushtuar 10 vitet e fundit të karierë së tij.. Kjo punë 10 vjeçare e frymëzuar nga historia dhe kultura shqiptare\, pikërisht me rastin e 550 vjetorit nga lindja e Skënderbeut do të gjejë vendin e saj në hapësirën ekspozuese të objektit Çifte hamam\, të cilat tërësisht përfshihen në idenë dhe qëllimin e autorit për të dhënë vulën e tij në përkujtim të përvjetorit të lindjes së një udhëheqësi të madh ushtarak. Duke u nisur nga kjo\, erdhi ideja që me këtë datë të organizohet hapja e kësaj ekspozite. Në ekspozitë shfaqen gjithsej 350 imazhe të vogla në teknikën e vajit. Ato janë të ndërlidhura dhe të kombinuara në një tërësi të veçantë në imazhe komplekse të mozaikut që formojnë 4 pjesë të vetme në një format të madh.\nPuna e parë e cila ka një vend qendror në këtë projekt\, duke marrë parasysh rastin për këtë ekspozitë që i është dedikuar për 550 vjetorit të lindjes së Skënderbeut dhe është formuar nga vizatime në formatin e vogël që në mes veti janë të lidhura në mënyrë subtile në një tërësi që përfaqëson një mozaik të madh në të cilën do të njohim pikërisht figurën e ushtarit të madh . Përveq t mozaikut të madh dedikuar Skënderbet në këtë ngjarje do të paraqiten edhe tre vepra tjera : 100 vjetorit të lindjes së Nënë Terezës\, 100 vjetorin e pavarësisë së Shqipërisë dhe aktin e shpalljes së Nënë Terezës si një shenjtore. Vepra dedikuar 100 vjetorit të lindjes së Nënë Terezës është bërë nga 100 vizatime në formatin e vogël e cila është përsëri si në punën e mësipërm për të formuar një mozaik të gjerë nga e cila formohet portreti i Nënë Terezës. Projekti dedikuar 100 vjetorit të pavarësisë së Shqipërisë\, paraqet figurat më të rëndësishme historike të kombit shqiptar\, përsëri duke formuar nga portretet e këtyre figurave një mozaik të madh. Numri i përgjithshëm i këtyre vizatimeve të formati të vogël e cila do të formoj mozaikun e madh në të cilën paraqiten figurat më të rëndësishme historike të popullit shqiptar në total është 350. Të gjitha janë të punuara me teknikën e vajit me theks realistik dhe saktësi të jashtëzakonshme të vizatimit\, fakt që në fund paraqet moment kyç në ndërtimin ideal të veprave mozaike që i ngjajnë rruazave të pikturave të vogla. Pëlhurat e vogla çojnë në veprën e madhe \, vepra e e madhe është arsyeja për pikturat e vogla. \nPiktura e Maestro Miftar Memetit paraqet emocine \, një fryt i njeriut\, i cili në të njëjtën kohë krijon afërsinë me njerëzit në mënyrë që të afroj faktiken . Një piktor që i jep përparësi ndjenjave dhe emocioneve\, të cilat gjatë procesit të pikturës gradualisht ndërtohen dhe thellësohen Gjegjësisht ai pikturën e afërson në mendimet e tij duke ndjekur emocionet e tyre dhe sfidën intelektuale. Veprat e tij janë të frymëzuara nga ngjarje dramatike\, të lidhura me momentet kryesore të historisë dhe kulturës shqiptare. \nMiftar Memeti u lind në vitin 1954 në fshatin Rakovec\, Tetovë. Në vitin 1980 u diplomua në Fakultetin e Arteve të Bukura në Prishtinë. Në vitin 2004 ka punuar si mësues i arteve të bukura në të gjitha shkollat e mesme në Tetovë. Magjistroi në pikturë në Fakultetin e Arteve të Bukura në Prishtinë në vitin 2001. nën mentorimin e profesorit Tahir Emra. Në vitin 2004 . pas zyrtarizimit të Universitetit të Tetovës\, mori titullin Asistent Profesor dhe u zgjodh si profesor i rregullt në temën Vizatim me Pikturë. Është autor i dhjetra ekspozitave personale\, si dhe ka marrë pjesë në një numër të madh të ekspozitave kolektive.

Divers will take off from the fortified bridge into the Neretva river below. This event is a part of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series\, where diving daredevils display their incredible skills. DESCRIPTION:In 2001 the European Film Association made the Sarajevo Film Festival one of eleven festivals that can nominate a film for the award “Europe’s Best Short Film.” In the same year\, the movie “No Man’s Land” winner of the Sarajevo Film Festival won an Oscar. Contrary to most\, it has not become famous for its glamorous side with tuxedos and paparazzi but as a festival dedicated to art and the support of regional filmmakers\, actors and directors. In 2007 it started as cooperation with the Berlin International Film Festival and the Berlinale Talent Campus to introduce the Sarajevo Talent Campus\, an educational platform for young and aspiring film professionals.\nIn addition to fantastic film content\, the program includes Srce Sarajeva (Sarajevo Heart) Awards\, critics and filmmakers workshops\, and numerous great entertainment events. This is an absolute must to get the taste of some of the world’s best documentaries and southeast Europe’s best filmmakers.\nDuring the festival\, Sarajevo shines in lights and the streets are filled with life. SUMMARY:BULG | International Jazz Festival Bansko
DESCRIPTION:The International Jazz Festival in Bansko is the biggest summer musical event in Bulgaria. The enormous popularity which the festival enjoys among specialists and fans across the world has turned it into one of the foremost international cultural happenings in the Balkans. \nThe quaint old town of Bansko becomes a meeting place for emblematic figures of today’s music world. The concerts are free for the public and the festival is organized with the aid of sponsors. \nTraditionally\, the program features styles and groups representing almost all jazz trends. The evening concerts draw huge crowds to the open-air stage on Nikola Vaptsarov Square in downtown Bansko. Throughout the festival\, week jazz is also played during the day and late at night on various smaller stages in the large resort bars and restaurants. \nEver since its foundation in 1998\, Bansko Jazz Fest is held every year from August 8 to 13.  \nThe main concerts take place on the open-air stage at 1 Nikola Vaptsarov Square in Bansko and start nightly at 7 pm.

DESCRIPTION:Çeço Fest is an electronic music festival that will take place at Gjirokastra Castle in partnership with the Ministry Of Culture\, in honor of the Albanian Hero Çeço. \nThe name “ Çeço” was chosen for our festival in honor of the Albanian Hero and fighter who fought in Gjirokastra during the Ottoman war. His impact was huge\, as huge as we believe our festival will be.\nThe festival will be on 2 dates\, the 2-nd and 3-rd of August. There will be 10 artists (look at the list below). It will be a Festival with Electronic Music\, the first of its kind to take place in the castle of the city.\nDuring the festival\, there will also be an exhibition of traditional clothes\, food\, historical pictures and a small cinema where movies about the city hero will be playing. DESCRIPTION:Planina Rila se uzdiže na jugozapadu Bugarske i predstavlja očuvano prirodno bugarsko i svetsko bogatstvo divljine\, životinja i rijetkih biljaka. Naziv je dobila od tračanske riječi Roula\, što u prevodu znači „mnogo vode“. Takvo ime planina je zaslužila po velikom broju glečarskih jezera. Ima ih preko 150 koja leže na visini od 2100 do 2.709 m. Najviši vrh planine je 2925 m visoka Musala. Musala je i najviši vrh Balkana. Ime potiče od riječi “Mus Alah“\, što znači “bliže Alahu“. Ovaj naziv datira iz vremena turske vladavine. Prije toga se zvao Tangra. Ostali veći vrhovi su: Dimitrov (2902 m)\, Maljovica (2730 m)\, Rilec (2715 m). Planina Rila prostire se na površini od 2.629 km²\, od toga se na površini od 81.000 hektara prostire Nacionalni park Rila. \nPlanina Pirin je izuzetno impresivna i veličanstveno lijepa planina\, koju odlikuju krečnjačka i granitna područja\, oštri piramidalni vrhovi\, duboki tjesnaci i predivna lednička jezera. Pirin je nazvan po Perunu\, osnovnom bogu grmljavine i munja drevnih Slovena. Na prostranstvu dužine 80km i prosječne širine masiva od oko 40 km\, Pirin krasi preko 100 glacijalnih jezera smještenih u podnožju vrhova na visini od 1260 do 2720 metara i skoro isto toliko vrhova iznad 2500m nadmorske visine. Najviši vrhovi Pirina sui: Vihren (2914m)\, Kutelo (2908m) i Banski Suhodol (2884m).\nPROGRAM:\nPrvi i drugi dan: Plazak 21.07. u 20 časova ispred crkve Svetog Đorđa. Putovanje preko Albanije\, Kosova i Makedonije do Banskog u Bugarskoj. Po dolasku u Bansko smještaj\, slobodno vrijeme\, priprema za uspon na vrhove Pirina.\nTreći dan: U 6 časova polazak autobusom do doma “Vihren” na 1950mnv. Od doma počinje uspon na Kutelo i preko Konjčita na Banski Suhodol. Spuštanje do prevoja Premkata i uspon na Vihren. Povratak do doma i autobusom do Banskog.\nČetvrti dan: Poslije doručka slobodno vrijeme do polaska za Rilski manastir. Manastir Rila\, posvećen Svetom Jovanu – Jovanu Rilskom je najveći i najpoznatiji pravoslavni manastir Bugarske i dio UNESCO svetskog kulturnog nasleđa od 1983. godine. Manastir je nazvan po svom osnivaču Svetom Jovanu Rilskom\, (876 – 946.). Manastir Rila bio je središte kulturnog i duhovnog života i narodne svijesti Bugarske. Manastirska cjelina Rile je predstavljala riznicu bugarskog nasleđa i kulture tokom dugih vekova tuđe vladavine.\nPo obilasku manastira nastava puta prema Borovecu. Smještaj u hotelu.\nPeti dan: Cjelodnevni uspon na Musalu. Za one koji žele na uspon iz Boroveca polazak u 6 časova. Taj uspon traje 5\,5 do 6 sati\, toliko i povratak. Druga mogućnost je žičarom do Jastrebeca i 3\,5 sata do vrha i povratak žičarom . Grupe bi se spojile kod doma Musala i zajedno izašli na vrh.\nPeti dan: Poslije doručka polazak za Paničište odakle se žičarom stiže do doma na Rilskim jezerima. Sedam jezera se nalaze na nadmorskoj visini od 2095 do 2535 metara. Nastala kao rezultat erozivnih procesa u visokim djelovima planine Rile. Ova Rilska jezera povezana su prirodnim kanalima. Lanac Rilskih jezera kao takav najduži je prirodni lanac u Bugarskoj. Svako od sedam jezera ime je dobilo po obliku na koji podseća. Imena ovih sedam rilskih jezera su: Donje jezero\, Ribno\, Trolist\, Blizanci\, Bubreg\, Oko i Suza. Od doma do vrha Vazov (2669 m) odakle se vide sva jezera\, potrebno je oko 2\,5 sata normalnog hoda\, stazom koja prolazi kraj ovih prelepih jezera.\nPovratak do Paničišta i nastavak putovanja prema Podgorici gdje se stiže u noćnim satima \nOPREMA: Standardna visokogorska- planinarske cipele\, dobra zaštita od kiše i vjetra\, odjeća s obzirom na godišnje doba i visinu vrhova.\nNAPOMENA: svaki učesnik ide na sopstvenu odgovornost. DESCRIPTION:Curated by: Giacinto Di Pietrantonio \n20 July – Preview / Opening\n21 July -21 September 2019 / Open for public\nPrizren / Kosovo \nFrom Giacinto Di Pietrantonio\, the curator of the second edition of Autostrada Biennale: \nIt is only natural that by living in a world where virtuality has become crucial to our existence\, the first thing we do when we have an idea is to find a reference\, which means going on the internet and searching on Google for news or references to confirm our idea. If we search for “La rivoluzione siamo noi” on Google\, we find 27.000.000 results in 0.47 seconds. A colossal number. However\, for anyone working with art\, it is very encouraging to see that the first result which appears is Joseph Beuys’ piece of 1971\, with the title “La Rivoluzione Siamo Noi”.\nThe title has not been translated\, because Beuys named the piece in Italian\, as he thought and did the work in Italy. A large paper print\, a kind of poster\, produced by the Modern Art Agency in Naples. An inkjet print of 185 x 106 cm with 180 copies in which Beuys is shown walking towards us with his felt hat on his head\, a white shirt with a fisherman’s vest\, jeans\, boots and a shoulder bag. \nThis is one of the contemporary works of art that I prefer both for formal reasons and those of its content. It’s the one thing I would take on a deserted island. So\, it is a work which I keep with me for many years\, ever since I learned of it. Then\, a few years ago\, I managed to get a copy of it\, and I installed it at the entrance of my house. In fact\, anyone who comes to visit me is welcomed not only by me\, but also by Joseph Beuys who walks behind me towards the guest\, and at that moment\, Beuys\, I and the guest or guests become “Revolution Is Us”. \nIt is clear that nowadays\, even more so than a few decades ago\, the word revolution sounds suspect\, given the collapse of the great narratives promising revolution ever since the Enlightenment\, be they on the right or left. Those that produced the well-known dramas of the 20th century\, and because of which everyone by the end of the century was in such a rush to bury the word revolution. Unfortunately by doing so\, they also buried the utopias and hopes for the future which the word represents. \nHowever\, what “La Rivoluzione Siamo Noi” makes me think of is not so much the political revolutions\, but the personal ones\, and in the case of art\, the linguistic ones. Art is\, even when it does not seem to appear that way\, always a bearer of novelty\, openness\, change\, and above all freedom. I never thought of art as merely aesthetic\, or pure contemplative pleasure\, but as a human expression full of ethics and aesthetics. But above all as an aesthetic at the service of ethics\, as Walter Benjamin suggests\, and to which in some way this work also owes something to the work ‘Wanderer above the Mist’ of 1818\, by Caspar David Friedrich. \nIt is known that Benjamin talks to us about the “Angelus Novus” painting of 1920\, by Paul Klee\, which portrays the angel of history with its body turned towards the future while its face and gaze are turned towards the past\, and therefore between the old and the new. While Friedrich in the 1818 ‘Wanderer above the Mist’ depicts a solitary figure of the man and romantic traveler artist looking out at a great expanse of fog with his back turned to us. It is the romantic solitude of man in the face of the greatness of nature that Beuys replicates in the photographic work “Difesa della Natura (clavicembalo)” in 99.5 x 67 cm. in 1981\, exactly ten years after “La Rivoluzione Siamo Noi”. \nWe find here many of the urgent questions of contemporary society\, ranging from the relationship with society\, history\, nature\, our being in the world\, not in a descriptive-didactic or passive way\, but active and moving towards the future. Not in a didactic way\, otherwise it would not be art\, but in an active way\, and when I say active I do not refer to an idea of activism\, but to that change of consciousness that every work of art provokes more or less. In fact\, it must be said that the work of Beuys has nothing “revolutionary” from the point of view of a didactic iconography that should have contained a political symbol. In this case\, the German greens\, or the like. \nThe work indicates the journey towards and in and for the world. As “La Rivoluzione Siamo Noi” suggests\, we must move towards the future\, because we are not angels being blown by the storm of paradise\, and neither are we immobile and contemplative wayfarers of a sea of fog\, the metaphor of an uncertain future. But\, like art\, we are beings in movement\, walking towards the future\, that\, even if uncertain\, we must always look for. SUMMARY:Sarajevo Film Festival
DESCRIPTION:While Sarajevo has become known as a city of festivals\, the Sarajevo Film Festival is the most notable one. \nIn 2001 the European Film Association made the Sarajevo Film Festival one of eleven festivals that can nominate a film for the award “Europe’s Best Short Film.” In the same year the movie “No Man’s Land” winner of the Sarajevo Film Festival won an Oscar. Contrary to most\, it has not become famous for its glamorous side with tuxedos and paparazzi but as a festival dedicated to art and the support of regional filmmakers\, actors and directors. In 2007 it started as cooperation with the Berlin International Film Festival and the Berlinale Talent Campus to introduce the Sarajevo Talent Campus\, an educational platform for young and aspiring film professionals. \nDuring the festival Sarajevo shines in lights and the streets are filled with life. It has become a festival not only dear to the domestic audience but for many foreigners too. If you are catching a breaking between excellent movies\, just take a walk through the centre of Sarajevo and visit some of the local bars that are open the entire night and where the locals will meet you with warmth.
