Çeço Fest is an electronic music festival that will take place at Gjirokastra Castle in partnership with the Ministry Of Culture, in honor of the Albanian Hero Çeço.

The name “ Çeço” was chosen for our festival in honor of the Albanian Hero and fighter who fought in Gjirokastra during the Ottoman war. His impact was huge, as huge as we believe our festival will be.
The festival will be on 2 dates, the 2-nd and 3-rd of August. There will be 10 artists (look at the list below). It will be a Festival with Electronic Music, the first of its kind to take place in the castle of the city.
During the festival, there will also be an exhibition of traditional clothes, food, historical pictures and a small cinema where movies about the city hero will be playing. Also during the performance of the DJ, the city circus will be giving their show on stage.
City Castle is a very important city attraction.
Gjirokastra Castle was built during the XII century and it offers all the necessary requirements to make this festival of high quality. In the inner side of the castle, there is a huge main square, a folkloric arena, public bathrooms, private security and great lighting in every area and above all, it offers a great city view.
To make this Festival a reality, we are working closely with the Ministry of Culture, The Regional Directory of Cultural Inheritance, Gjirokastra City Hall, local businesses and private agencies in the making of special Events.
Çeço Fest is a vision to promote and develop Gjirokastra’s tourism and historical values.
It will be engraved in our minds as “The dream of Every summer night”
